Pricing clarity
Do You Need Claude Pro or Max for This Course?
The course is honest about tool costs: the free lessons run on a free Claude account, and the hands-on paid section is designed around Claude Pro rather than Max.
The practical answer
You can start the course for free. Lesson 1 plus Lessons 2-5 run on a free Claude account, with the Claude Desktop app recommended when available and the browser as a fallback.
For hands-on work from Lesson 6 onward, you will want a paid Claude plan because Cowork, connectors, scheduled tasks, Dispatch, Computer Use, and Code workflows are paid-plan features.
How to decide before you buy the course
| If this is you | Course path | Claude plan posture |
|---|---|---|
| You only want to test the teaching style. | Do Lessons 1-5 first. | Start free and decide later. |
| You want to do every hands-on Cowork and Code exercise. | Plan one focused month for Lessons 6-24. | Use a paid plan during that month. |
| You want the concepts but not the paid tools yet. | Read paid lessons and follow concept-only skip paths. | Delay the tool subscription until you are ready to practice. |
Why the course says this plainly
A course should not hide the tool bill behind the checkout button. The full course is a one-time purchase from Serenity Brands LLC, and Claude’s subscription is separate. The course is written so you can make that decision before you buy.
If you do not want to pay for Pro
You can still read the paid lessons and follow the concept-only skip paths. You will miss some muscle memory, but you will learn the decision rules, vocabulary, and safety habits.
